I'm Diego Blanco, Co-Founder and Host of Concierge Arenal Rental Services & Arenal Heights Villas, bringing over two decades of expertise to Costa Rica's vibrant tourism scene. My journey began with studies in tropical biology and business at the University of Costa Rica, where my passion for showcasing the country's natural wonders ignited as a cruise ship tour guide.
After graduation, I immersed myself in the tourism industry, serving as a nature guide and later transitioning to pivotal roles with esteemed agencies like Abercrombie & Kent, Condé Nast, and others. These experiences honed my understanding of luxury travel, service, and hotel management.
Throughout my career, I've held diverse leadership positions, including Product Manager, Operations Director, and Sales Director for international corporations. Noteworthy stints include overseeing Costa Rica Expeditions and managing properties like Tortuga Lodge & Gardens and Monteverde Lodge & Gardens, where I learned under the tutelage of ecotourism pioneer Michael Kaye.
In response to the pandemic's challenges, I embarked on a new venture, co-founding Concierge Arenal Rental Services & Arenal Heights Villas. We specialize in crafting eight luxurious villas in the picturesque Arenal Volcano area while managing 14 properties through Concierge Arenal services.
Our mission is unwavering: to deliver exceptional, personalized service, curating unforgettable experiences amidst Costa Rica's breathtaking natural landscapes. Sustainability and the highest standards of hospitality underpin our efforts, ensuring every guest's stay is nothing short of extraordinary.
